Hello! Welcome! I am Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. If you would like to enter the Geburtshaus building on Getreidegasse 9 in Salzburg to enter the Truly Mozart Site please just click on the door of the archway entrance. We are entering the building where I was born on January 27, 1756....on the third floor. I lived here until I was 17 -- that is, when I was in Salzburg at all and wasn't touring such cities as Prague or Vienna. There are three floors of exhibition rooms, which includes our Mozart family apartment. The main treasures are the valuable paintings (such as the well-known oil painting of myself and the Piano, left unfinished by Joseph Lange) and the original instruments: the violin I used as a child, my concert violin, and viola, forte piano, and clavichord, Willkommen!
